We are happy to share that La Rueca Asociación -https://www.larueca.org -, a reference entity in the work for social inclusion, has managed to register its carbon footprint in MITECO with the free help of the Asociación Huella de Carbono.
From the Carbon Footprint Association we have had the honor of accompanying them in this process, helping them to measure, reduce and record their climate impact. Today we celebrate that La Rueca is already part of the entities committed to the future of the planet.
What makes this step special?
La Rueca has been committed for more than 25 years to a model of sustainable social intervention, promoting environmental education, green employment and responsible consumption, with projects such as:
- "En Verde": employment and training for young people with an environmental focus.
- Recycling, composting and circular economy activities in their neighborhoods.
- Community participation with awareness-raising actions and EcoGestos.
If you are part of an NGO, cooperative or association, you can do it too.
- It's not just about measuring CO₂.
- It is to add coherence between your values and your actions.
- It is saying to the world: "we care about the planet".
