In October 2021, I published an article on LinkedIn about the use of concept maps as an educational tool for creating and presenting knowledge.
From a young age, I studied by making chapter outlines and organizing information on index cards, each representing a single concept. This method helped me break down complex ideas and understand the connections between them.
Back then, I recommended several tools for creating concept maps. I never imagined that this practice would become even more relevant, especially for online learning.
Concept maps offer a dynamic way to present knowledge, making them an ideal tool for microlearning.
They take very little time to analyze, can be reviewed as many times as necessary during the learning process, and have an even greater impact when students create their own maps.
Today, concept maps are at the heart of our training model at the Carbon Footprint Association.
